So.... you know how !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! got to test drive the first Evora 400 in the US? Well it turns out, my dealer was already promised a release/launch party deal for !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (non GRB). The car in the video is OUR CAR! It’s our official demo car. Our Lotus salesman saw the video here with me and got a bit ticked off. He sent Lotus North America an email pretty ticked about the video. Lotus immediately called right back apologizing for Galpin Auto’s non Lotus approved move to let Matt drive the car and post the video review. Yes, some of our invited possible clients saw the video and didn’t approve one bit. Lotus didn’t approve an official unveiling at the Houston Auto Show next week. They instead let us have the official launch here tomorrow.

Bonus news. We are going to be ordering a Lotus 311! Non street legal of course. it will be a track car for a client.

Something similar happened when the Vanquish was released. It was a light blue one. Top Gear UK had it (when filming the race to Mexico supercar challenge) then I think The Smoking Tire had it as well. We had it at one point here. I don’t remember if it was pre or post thrashing :]

We have one on order, but it’s not our demo. It will arrive later. What i did learn is that it will also have yellow stripes :]

So just to make sure. Your first car for sale will be a BRG car with yellow stripes and Matt’s car was supposed to be your demo car but Galpin got it first and let Matt drive it?

The Galpin car is our demo that should get here a little later. Driven directly from California. We have I think 8 cars on order including a BRG. Only 2 of the cars ordered are manual trans
